How to change message characters limit for email to text service?

By default, we'll only deliver first 160 characters of your email message as a text message to recipients. The rest of the characters will be truncated.

You can increase the message limit as required from Email to Text Campaign settings.

Messages longer than 160 characters will be sent as one long message, some users may receive as in multiple fragments depending on the recipient carrier and/or handset.

Each segment of 154 characters will be billed as one text credit.

Following these steps to change Message limit:

  1. Sign in to the dashboard
  2. Click on Manage campaigns- > Select your Email to text service
  3. On Email to Text configuration screen, change "Message Limit"
  4. Press Save

Each fragment costs 1 text credit.
